On Wolf coffee systems in the EC24, EC2450 and EC3050 series, Fill Water, or the longer Fill Water and Beans, Empty Tray and Grounds, means the water tank is empty. It is shown before drinks of 12 ounces or more so you can top up before brewing. The longer version also nudges you to refill beans and empty the drip tray and grounds bin.
1. Remove the water tank and fill it with fresh cold water. 2. Seat the tank firmly. 3. Check the bean hopper and add beans if low. 4. Empty the drip tray and the grounds container. 5. Choose your drink again; call us if the message stays.
Drinks of 12 ounces or more need more water, so the machine checks first. Fill the tank and it will proceed. Using fresh cold water each time also helps keep the tank and lines clean and the coffee tasting right.
It reminds you to refill beans and empty the tray and grounds too, so one round of upkeep covers all of them. Doing all of them at once is quicker than answering one message after another during the morning rush.
The tank may not be seated. Press it in firmly. If it still shows, call us and we will check the sensing. A tank that is not pressed home can look full but fail to be sensed, so seat it firmly.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
