Wolf drop-down door microwaves such as the MDD24TE/S/TH and MDD30PE/S/PH, plus the MDD2450TE/S and MDD3050PE/S/P, may stop 10 to 20 seconds after you start a cycle and display an error. The official pointer is the AH sensor. You see the microwave begin, run briefly, then quit with a message while food is still cold. Our technicians read the code against your model, and that matters for the repair choice.
1. Open the door and clear the cavity of containers, covers and food. 2. Wipe the cavity walls and the door seal dry. 3. Run a short cycle with a bowl of water to see when the error appears. 4. Reset at the breaker for a minute. If the error returns inside 20 seconds, call us.
On MDD drop-down door models, the microwave starts, then stops in that window with an error. The official source of this behavior is the AH sensor.
A bowl of plain water gives a fair test. If the same error appears at the same time, the cause is the sensor path, not your food.
Plain timed cooking may or may not work, but repeating the error is not good for the unit. We suggest a visit so we can test the sensor and quote the repair.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
