E00 means different things on two Wolf platforms. On CI induction touchscreen cooktops from 2023, such as the CI30460T/S and CI36560C/B, E00 is overvoltage: L1 or L2 to ground at 132 volts AC or less, and L1 to L2 at 265 volts AC or less, single phase. On integrated module cooktops like the CI152TF/S, E00 means no error and nothing needs repair.
1. Turn all zones off. 2. On a touchscreen CI model, reset the breaker after a one-minute pause. 3. Check whether E00 clears. 4. Do not retry repeatedly if it returns, and keep pans off the glass in the meantime. 5. Call us and name your cooktop model.
No. On integrated module cooktops it means no error. On CI touchscreen models from 2023 it signals an overvoltage condition. Check which platform you have first, because the very same code carries opposite meanings on the two models.
For single phase, L1 or L2 to ground should stay within 132 volts AC, and L1 to L2 within 265 volts AC. Those limits apply to single phase supply, and a reading outside them stops the cooktop to protect it.
Once is fine. If E00 returns on a CI touchscreen cooktop, call us so we can check the supply safely. A supply check involves live measurements, so we do it safely and give you the price in writing first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
