On Wolf integrated module cooktops from the 2015 series, such as the CE152TF/S and GM15TF/S, E24 means the cap-touch keypad micro has an internal error. The microcontroller behind the capacitive touch panel stopped working correctly, so the keypad may not respond or may act on its own. The display shows E24, and the module cooktop may refuse to heat until the keypad control is serviced.
1. Turn off all modules. 2. Wipe the glass dry, as moisture can confuse touch panels, and remove items from the controls. 3. Wait one minute with the breaker off, then restore power to the cooktop. 4. If E24 shows again, stop and call us; the keypad is part of the glass assembly.
Water on a touch panel can cause odd behavior, so drying the glass is a good first step. E24 itself, though, names an internal micro error.
E15 is a communication link problem with the cap-touch, while E24 is an internal error in the keypad micro itself, so the fix points to the keypad board.
If the keypad is unreliable, it might not turn burners off when you ask. We suggest leaving it off at the breaker until we inspect it.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
