Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO30 and DO30 models, report 0021 as a bake element relay shorted. In the four-digit format the third digit is the priority. Its sister number 0022 carries the same wording. The oven may stop baking, show the code and refuse a new cycle.
1. Turn the oven off and let it cool completely. 2. Switch the oven breaker off for one minute, then on. 3. Set a simple bake mode and see if 0021 returns. 4. If the oven heats unexpectedly or smells hot, turn the breaker off. 5. Do not open the control panel; call us.
It is a bake element relay shorted. The relay that switches the bake element reads as shorted, so the control flags it. The cost of the visit is quoted in writing before we start.
It carries the same wording, with a different last digit for priority. We read both numbers together. Please do not remove covers, since that exposes live parts and may void other protections.
We advise stopping. A shorted relay can keep the element on, so turn the breaker off and call us for a written price. Having someone home who can show us the problem makes the visit quicker.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
