On Wolf M Series wall ovens, 2030 reports a problem in the ambient thermistor circuit on the relay board. That sensor lets the control read the temperature around the board. The code is not specific to the upper or lower oven. You see 2030 on the display and the oven may stop heating until it clears. Owners usually notice that the oven cannot hold temperature or stops partway through a cycle.
1. Cancel cooking and wait for a full cool-down. 2. Switch the oven breaker off for one minute, then back on. 3. Try a short bake and see whether the code returns. 4. If it does, stop using the oven and call us. Do not pull the sensor or open any panel.
The code says the board's ambient temperature reading is wrong, not that the oven is hot. The control may stop heating to stay safe. Let the oven cool and reset power once. If 2030 returns, we replace what tests bad.
We advise against it. Without a trusted temperature reading the control cannot hold heat safely, and results will be unpredictable. It is better to wait for a quick repair than to risk a ruined meal.
We give a written price after testing the sensor and its input, before any work starts. Sensor repairs are usually the smaller job. The repair carries our 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
