For Wolf M Series wall ovens such as the SO30TM and DO30PM and the newer SO3050 models, code 0522 means the DLB for the lower broil element is shorted. The control sees the line-break path to the lower broil as closed. Owners see 0522 on the display, and broiling from below, or heating generally, may be blocked until a technician clears the cause.
1. Switch the oven off, then give it at least an hour to cool down. 2. With the oven cool, reset its breaker by switching it off and on again. 3. Give it a brief trial and see if 0522 returns. 4. We take it from here if 0522 comes back; leave panels in place.
The line-break switch for the lower broil element reads as shorted, which means the control cannot be sure it can cut power to that element.
We advise against it until the oven is checked, since an element that cannot be shut off reliably is a safety concern. Our technician starts from 0522 on the screen, so you only pay for what is needed.
We read the code, test the circuit, and give a written price for the repair. Work begins only after you say yes. A visit lets us confirm 0522 in person, so there are no surprises on the bill.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
