On Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO30TM and DO30PM lines and the 2019 and later SO3050 models, code 0521 reports that the DLB for the upper broil element is shorted. The control has found a closed line-break path to that element where it should be able to open one. The display shows 0521, and the oven may stop heating that element or the whole cavity until it is serviced.
1. Turn the oven off and let it cool with the door closed. 2. Flip the circuit breaker feeding the oven off, count to sixty, and switch it on. 3. Start a quick cycle afterward and see whether the display shows 0521 again. 4. Call us when 0521 repeats; please do not open panels or touch wiring.
The DLB for the upper broil element is shorted. The control found the path for that element closed when it should be able to open it.
It is better not to. A shorted line-break circuit means the control may not be able to switch that element off reliably. The meaning of 0521 gets verified at your home, which keeps the repair focused.
It might if the cause was a brief glitch. If 0521 returns, the circuit needs hands-on testing, and we quote the work in writing first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
