What 4332 means

On Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO30TM/S/TH, code 4332 means the control cannot detect the lower left convection element. When it tries to power that element, no load shows up on the relay board, as if the element were disconnected or open. The display shows 4332. The lower cavity can run cooler than set, so roasts and baked goods take longer than expected.

Common causes of 4332

  • Open or burned-out lower left convection element
  • Loose terminal or connector at the lower left convection element
  • Relay board output feeding the lower left convection element
✓ One safe check you can try

1. Make sure the oven is off, then wait for the metal to cool. 2. Set the breaker to off, let two minutes pass, and set it back to on. 3. Run a Bake and a Convection Bake to see which modes still heat. 4. If 4332 returns, stop using the affected modes and call us. Never touch the element or its wires.

! Why to stop there
  • Testing an element means measuring resistance and current with power controlled, which is not a household task.
  • We check whether the lower left convection element itself or only its connection has failed before recommending any part.
  • Written quote first, repair second, and a 30-day workmanship warranty at the end.
Opening a panel yourself does not automatically cancel a manufacturer warranty, but it can cause accidental damage, and some manufacturers set their own service conditions. Check your warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.

43324332 questions
What does 'not detected' mean on this oven?

The control expected the lower left convection element to draw power and saw nothing. That can mean the element has burned open, a connection has loosened, or the relay board is not sending power. Only a test tells which.

Can I use the oven while 4332 shows?

Modes that do not use the lower left convection element may keep running. We still suggest limiting use, because the cause could be a connection that is getting warm. Call us if the code returns after a reset.

Is the element the part that gets replaced?

Often, but not always. We test the element and its wiring first. If the element is open, we replace it; if a terminal is loose, we repair the connection and quote the work in writing.
