Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO30TM/S/TH, show 3921 for an upper broil bank wiring error. The control found a problem in the wiring to the upper or single oven broil heating bank. Owners see 3921 on the display, and broil or a combined heating mode may not start or may stop soon after it begins. Other modes that do not use that bank may keep working normally.
1. Switch the oven off and let it cool completely. 2. Take the oven off power at the panel for two minutes and then restore it. 3. Try Bake instead of Broil, and note whether Bake runs normally. 4. If Broil still shows 3921, stop using that mode and call us. Do not reach for the element terminals.
Not necessarily. The code names the wiring to the upper broil bank. A loose connector or a damaged wire can trigger it even when the element itself is fine. We test the whole path.
Often Bake keeps working, but we suggest avoiding any mode that uses the broil bank until we have inspected it. A bad connection under heavy load can get hot and spread damage.
The code covers the upper or single oven. A double oven's lower cavity uses 3922 instead. If both appear, tell us when you book so we can plan the visit.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
