On Wolf Legacy E Series wall ovens like the DO30TE/S/TH, Error 07 x 1 means the outer bake relay is shorted. The control sees power on the outer bake circuit when the relay should be open, so the outer element may keep heating. The oven stops and the code stays on the display. On a double oven, the number in the x position tells you which cavity reported it.
1. Turn the oven off and open the door a little to release heat. 2. Cut power at the breaker for about a minute before turning it back on. 3. Restore power with nothing set and feel whether the oven warms up. 4. Should the oven report Error 07 x 1 a second time, stop and call us.
No. Error 03 x 1 says the outer bake element draws no current. Error 07 x 1 says the relay feeding it is stuck on. They point to opposite problems.
Turn the oven off, switch off its breaker, and call us. Do not try to open panels, and keep the door closed unless you are releasing heat.
A reset may clear the display, but a relay that is truly shorted will report again. The relay board needs a technician to test it.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
