On the Wolf Legacy E Series wall ovens, including the SO30TE/S/TH, Error 03 x 9 means No Oven Light Detect. The control checks the oven light circuit and finds no light responding. Baking is usually unaffected, and the main thing you notice is a dark cavity and the code on the display. Read the digit that replaces the x as the cavity number.
1. Take any food out once it is safe, then turn the oven off and wait. 2. Remove the bulb cover and bulb with dry hands, following the use and care guide. 3. Install a new bulb rated for the oven and refit the cover. 4. Reset the breaker for one minute and restore power.
Usually not. The light is a convenience item, though the control reports it, so the code can show while baking still works. We advise fixing it so the display is clear.
Use the exact bulb type named in your use and care guide for the model. A wrong type can burn out quickly or fail to light.
The code may stay until the next oven cycle, or the socket or wiring may be at issue. If it stays after a breaker reset, we can test the light circuit.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
