On Wolf DFxx50 dual fuel ranges from 2020 on, such as the DF30450/S/P and DF36450G/S/P, code 3032 is the second code the oven uses for PROBE SHORTED. It tells you the control sees a short in the meat probe circuit and cannot take a temperature reading. The display shows 3032 and probe cooking is disabled. Regular bake and roast with a timer typically carry on as normal.
1. Pull the probe out of the food and unplug it from the oven wall. 2. Wipe the plug and the jack with a dry cloth once everything is cool. 3. Reinsert the probe all the way and start a probe cycle. 4. If 3032 returns, stop using the probe and call us.
Both codes mean the probe reads as shorted. They are paired for the same condition, so we treat them as one problem and check the probe and the probe circuit in the oven.
A short can hide inside the cable or in the jack, where you cannot see it. A visual check is a start, but a meter reading tells the truth.
In most cases, yes. Bake by time and temperature and leave the probe out. If the oven also acts strangely, book a visit and we will quote first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
