Wolf WWD30 30-inch Warming Drawer Service
The WWD30 is Wolf’s 30-inch warming drawer, in production since 2006, and it spreads heat with fans across a range of 80 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its 1.6 cubic foot cavity is roomy enough for entrées and sides together, which is why it is usually found in a built-in cabinet run under a wall oven or beside a range.
Because it relies on moving air rather than a still box of heat, the fan is the part we look at early. A fan that rattles, slows or stops can leave food warm on one side and cold on the other. After that we move to the heating element, the temperature controls and the way the drawer closes against its seal.
Every visit starts with a written price you approve first, and the workmanship is covered for 30 days.
It is designed to distribute heat evenly from 80 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit using fans. If your drawer will not climb toward the setting, we check the fan, the heating element and the controls to find the cause.
Uneven warmth usually means the air is not circulating well, so we look at the fan first. A drawer that does not close all the way can also let heat escape, so we check the fit as well.
Many have been in production since 2006 and still work well after a repair. We give you a written price before starting, so you can compare it with replacing the unit.
