Wolf BM13 Burner Module Service
A burner module such as the BM13 is dropped into an outdoor counter to give you a stovetop beside the grill, so pots and pans get their own heat source. It shares its 13-inch footprint and 24,000 Btu rating with the SB13 side burner.
Because it sits in a counter cutout, runoff goes straight to the burner head, and the weather does the rest. We look first at the ports and the igniter, then the gas valve and regulator, and last at the knob and its LED. We also check how the module seats in the counter, since a shifted frame can disturb the flame. If you notice gas, shut off the supply and call. The price is in writing before work starts, and we cover the repair for 30 days.
They share the same published heat output, size and knob design. The BM13 is described as a built-in module for the outdoor kitchen, while the SB13 is a side burner.
A damp igniter, a weak spark or partly blocked ports are the usual causes. We test the spark and clean the burner, then make sure the flame is even before we finish.
Usually yes. The LED and the knob are separate from the burner, so we test them on their own and replace only what has failed, after giving you a written price.
