On Wolf convection steam ovens such as the CSO24TE/S/TH, CSO30TM/S/TH, CSO2450TE/S/T, and CSO3050TM/S/T, this message means a previous descale did not finish. The cause can be no descaling solution, a measurement error, insufficient rinse water, or foam. The oven blocks steam use until the descale is completed, so owners cannot cook with steam until it is done. The oven shows this message each time you try steam.
1. Empty the water tank and rinse it well. 2. Fill the tank with the descaling solution the oven asks for. 3. Run the full descale cycle without stopping it. 4. Refill with fresh water for the rinse. 5. If the message returns, call us. We can check the water level sensing.
Scale buildup is controlled by the descale cycle. If it did not finish, the oven stops steam use until it does, to protect the steam system.
Rinse the tank well and use the correct amount of solution. Too much or the wrong product can foam. Run the cycle again from the start.
Call us. If descale fails despite correct steps, the water level or measurement sensing may be at issue, and we test it with a written price first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
