On Wolf convection steam ovens, such as the CSO24TE/S/TH with knob control or the CSO3050TM/S/T with touch control, E26 means a break or loose contact in the climate sensor or its wiring. The same problem may show as F3. A blocked exhaust duct, or a blocked duct between the cooking space and the sensor, can also trigger it. Steam cooking may stop.
1. Shut the oven off and give it time to cool down. 2. Check that nothing blocks the exhaust opening and wipe away any visible residue near it. 3. Turn the breaker off, wait a minute, and turn it on. 4. Try a short steam cycle. Should E26 or F3 return, we should take a look. Do not poke into the vent.
Yes. On knob-control models the problem shows as F3 and on touch-control models as E26. The meaning is the same. Please tell us which code your model displays.
You can gently wipe visible residue at the opening when cool, but avoid pushing anything into the duct. Wipe visible residue only when cool, and never push anything inside.
Dry cooking may still work, but steam features may be limited until the sensor path is sorted out. Clearing the path usually costs less than replacing the sensor.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
